FACTS
about Our Lures!
- The
MUSKIE HiJACKer is a hand crafted
bait. The (A) model weighs 1½ ozs.
and the (B) model weighs 2 ozs.
- The
(A) model has 1 blade and 1 7/0 hook.
It is a little harder to get started
and will track to one side or the
other.
- The
(B) model has 2 blades and 2 7/0 HOOKS.
This model will start up faster and
track straight, and make more commotion
on the surface.
- All
hooks are 7/0 forged mustad hooks!
- All
blades have 2 bushings allowing them
to last longer!
- All
baits are made with .051 stainless
steal wire
- The
skirts are made of silicone rubber.
Because of this, they are very durable,
fade resistant, won't melt and stick
together, or react to painted blades
(like living rubber skirts), and have
tremendous stretch!
Suggestions
on using and tuning HiJACKer Lures!
- First,
sharpen the hooks!
- Possibly
tune the bait with a needle nose pliers!
- If
more noise is desired, drill a couple
holes in the blades. The lure seems to
throw more water!
- Sometimes
the skirt gets caught in the blades. Don't
pull, instead unwind them.
- Start
the bait as soon as it hits the water.
This makes it much easier to get the bait
on the surface!
- When
a fish follows, keep the speed of the
retrieve the same. When the fish hits,
bow and let it turn before setting the
hook!
- Don't
be afraid to throw the bait, like any
other surface bait, over deep water.
